List of Randomizer Checks

Checks are locations where items can be found depending on the options selected in the randomizer. The chests currently assume you are playing the Gamecube version of the game, so if you want to use this list for TPWii, you will need to flip the orientation (i.e East=West, Left=Right, etc.). This list is not a definitive logic-based list. It is just to give you an idea of which check is which and where they are located.

Faron Mist Cave Lantern Chest	Faron Mist Cave	In the cave to the east of the mist area, light both torches to make the chest appear.	Always available.
Faron Mist Cave Open Chest	Faron Mist Cave	In the cave to the east of the mist area, there is a small chest in the middle of the room.	Needs Optional Prologue not skipped.
Faron Mist North Chest	Faron Mist Area	Near the entrance of the cave, there is a small chest in the mist.	Needs Talo rescued or prologue skipped.
Faron Mist South Chest	Faron Mist Area	Near the entrance to North Faron Woods, there is a big chest guarded by a Deku Baba.	Needs Talo rescued or prologue skipped.
Faron Mist Stump Chest	Faron Mist Area	In the middle of the mist area, there is a small chest on a stump ledge.	Needs Talo rescued or prologue skipped.
Faron Woods Owl Statue Chest	Faron Mist Area	After moving the Owl Statue with the Powered Dominion Rod, place it into the hole and use Midna to jump to the ledge containing the chest.	Needs
Lost Woods Lantern Chest	Lost Woods	Navigate through the Lost Woods until you come upon a pair of torches. Light them to make the chest appear.	Needs Faron Twilight cleansed.
North Faron Woods Deku Baba Chest	North Faron Woods	Near the path that leads to the Forest Temple, there is a small chest guarded by a Deku Baba.	Needs Optional Prologue not skipped.
Sacred Grove Baba Serpent Grotto Chest	Lost Woods	In the Baba Serpent Grotto that is under the rock in the Lost Woods.	Needs Faron Twilight cleansed or Open Grove option on.
Sacred Grove Past Owl Statue Chest	Sacred Grove - Temple of Time	After going through the doors that lead to the past. Use the Dominion Rod on the Owl Statue to reveal the path to the chest.	Needs Optional Open Grove option on. Open Temple of Time option on.
Sacred Grove Spinner Chest	Lost Woods	In one of the arenas where you fight the Skull Kid, there are Spinner tracks that can be ridden to reach the chest.	Needs Faron Twilight cleansed or Open Grove option on.
South Faron Cave Chest	South Faron Woods Mist Cave	In the cave that leads from South Faron Woods to the Mist Area, there is a small chest at the end of the dead end path.	Always available.
Bridge of Eldin Owl Statue Chest	Hyrule Field - Eldin Field	Use the Powered Dominion Rod on the Owl Statue that can be found on the northern end of the Bridge of Eldin and move it along the bridge to the southern side and place it in the hole that is across from the Bulblin Archer to use the Statue as a stepping stone to reach the entry that leads to a ladder. The chest is at the top of the ladder.	Needs Eldin Twilight cleansed.
Death Mountain Alcove Chest	Death Mountain	Before completing Goron Mines, you can use the Clawshot to attach to the vines that are hanging from the rock ledge above the path to the volcano to reach the chest. After Goron Mines, you can use the previously mentioned method, or you can get launched up to the ledge by the Goron that is below the Poe.	Needs Optional Defeat Fyrus
Eldin Field Bomb Rock Chest	Hyrule Field - Eldin Field	To the north of the entrance to Kakariko Village, there are some rocks that can be destroyed. Once they are gone, follow the path, destroying any other rocks, until you reach the ledge above the chest.	Needs Eldin Twilight cleansed.
Eldin Field Bomskit Grotto Lantern Chest	Hyrule Field - Eldin Field	In the grotto with the Bomskits running around, use the Lantern to light the torches and reveal the chest.	Needs Eldin Twilight cleansed.

Eldin Lantern Cave First Chest	Eldin Lantern Cave	In the Lantern Cave located in Kakariko Gorge, this chest can be found by going left and then right. You will find a Skulltula guarding the chest.	Needs

Kakariko Gorge Double Clawshot Chest	Hyrule Field - Kakariko Gorge	On the spire on the north side of the gorge that has a freestanding item on it, there are some Double Clawshot targets that lead to a chest.	Needs
Kakariko Gorge Owl Statue Chest	Hyrule Field - Kakariko Gorge	North of the entrance to Kakariko Village, use the Powered Dominion Rod to move the owl statue into the gaps to jump across to reach this chest.	Needs Eldin Twilight cleansed.
Kakariko Graveyard Lantern Chest	Kakariko Graveyard	Near the stairs on the end of the Graveyard, use the Lantern to light the torches to make the chest appear.	Needs
Kakariko Inn Chest	Kakariko Village	There is a small chest located under the staircase on the first floor.	Daytime or during twilight. Always available.
Kakariko Watchtower Alcove Chest	Kakariko Village	Destroy the rocks near the southern entrance to the village to free the Cuccos trapped there. Then grab a Cucco and carry it all the way to the watchtower and use it to fly to the chest that is on the ledge to the back.	Needs Eldin Twilight cleansed.
Kakariko Watchtower Chest	Kakariko Village	In the watchtower at the top of the village, climb the ladder to reach the chest.	Always available.
Doctors Office Balcony Chest	Castle Town	After showing the Doctor the Invoice, transform into a wolf and climb the shelves to reach the outside exit where you will find the chest on the outside balcony.	Needs Armogohma defeated. Eldin Twilight cleansed. Lanayru Twilight cleansed.
Fishing Hole Bottle	Fishing Hole	Use the fishing rod in the small pond near the wooden bridge in the Fishing Hole for a chance to catch the bottle.	Needs

Lanayru Field Skulltula Grotto Chest	Hyrule Field - Lanayru Field	In the grotto that is north of the stone bridge in Lanayru Field, use the Lantern to light all of the torches and reveal the chest.
Lanayru Field Spinner Track Chest	Hyrule Field - Lanayru Field	After destroying the rocks on the west side of Lanaryu Field, use the Spinner to ride along the wall to reach the chest.
Lanayru Ice Block Puzzle Cave Chest	Hyrule Field - Lanayru Ice Puzzle Cave	Use the Ball and Chain to enter the cave and then solve the puzzle to reach the chest.

Outside South Castle Town Fountain Chest	Hyrule Field - Outside South Castle Town	Use the Clawshot to reach the right pillar above the fountain and then use the Spinner to jump from the track to the chest in the fountain.
Outside South Castle Town Tektite Grotto Chest	Hyrule Field - Outside South Castle Town	In the grotto located on the stone pillar, defeat all of the Tetikes to reveal the chest.
Outside South Castle Town Tightrope Chest	Hyrule Field - Outside South Castle Town	Use the Clawshot to reach the right pillar above the fountain and then use the Shadow Crystal to transform into a wolf and walk across the ropes to reach the chest.
West Hyrule Field Helmasaur Grotto Chest	Hyrule Field - Outside West Castle Town	In the grotto that is on the ledge on the west side of the field, defeat the Helmasaurs to reveal the chest.
Wooden Statue	Hyrule Field - Outside South Castle Town	After collecting the Medicine Scent and talking to Louise, defeat all of the Stallhounds at sundown to receive the item.
Zoras Domain Chest Behind Waterfall	Zoras Domain	Use Midna to jump to the ledges that lead to the chest.
Zoras Domain Chest By Mother and Child Isles	Zoras Domain	This chest is located on the ledge above the Mother and Child Isles (the place where you catch the Reekfish).
Zoras Domain Extinguish All Torches Chest	Zoras Domain	In the throne room, use the Gale Boomerang to extinguish all of the torches to reveal the chest, then use the Iron Boots to sink down to it.
Zoras Domain Light All Torches Chest	Zoras Domain	In the throne room, use the Lantern to light all of the torches to reveal the chest, then use the Iron Boots to sink down to it.
Snowpeak Cave Ice Lantern Chest	Snowpeak	In the cave that you dig into as a wolf, use the Ball and Chain to destroy the ice, then use the Lantern to light the torches to reveal the chest.
Snowpeak Freezard Grotto Chest	Snowpeak	In the grotto by the lone tree, use the Ball and Chain to destroy the ice and Freezards that are guarding the chest.
Bulblin Camp First Chest Under Tower At Entrance	Bulblin Camp	At the entrance of the camp, there is a chest in the first dead end alcove on the right.
Bulblin Camp Small Chest in Back of Camp	Bulblin Camp	In the back of the camp opposite of the roasted boar, there is a small chest in a corner.
Gerudo Desert Campfire East Chest	Gerudo Desert	Defeat the Bulblins near the campfire and use a Boar to destroy the tower blocking the chest.
Gerudo Desert Campfire North Chest	Gerudo Desert	This chest is located in the open near the campfire where the Bulblins are sitting..
Gerudo Desert Campfire West Chest	Gerudo Desert	Defeat the Bulblins near the campfire and use a Boar to destroy the tower blocking the chest.
Gerudo Desert East Canyon Chest	Gerudo Desert	The chest can be found across the canyon located to the north of the point that the cannon spawns you in the desert.
Gerudo Desert Lone Small Chest	Gerudo Desert	In the center of the Desert, the chest can be found sitting on a rock platform.
Gerudo Desert North Small Chest Before Bulblin Camp	Gerudo Desert	On the path leading to the Bulblin camp, take the path to the right that leads to the chest.
Gerudo Desert Northeast Chest Behind Gates	Gerudo Desert	After defeating the Bulblins by the campfire, use a Boar to destroy the wooden gates blocking the chest.
Gerudo Desert Northwest Chest Behind Gates	Gerudo Desert	After defeating the Bulblins by the campfire, use a Boar to destroy the wooden gates blocking the chest.
Gerudo Desert Owl Statue Chest	Gerudo Desert	Use the Powered Dominion Rod to move the statue around to use it as a stepping stone to reach the chest.
Gerudo Desert Peahat Ledge Chest	Gerudo Desert	Use the Clawshot on the lone Peahat on the ledge in the southern area of the Desert to reach the chest.
Gerudo Desert Rock Grotto Lantern Chest	Gerudo Desert	In the northern grotto below a lone Poe, destroy the rocks and use the Lantern to light the torches to reveal the chest.
Gerudo Desert Skulltula Grotto Chest	Gerudo Desert	In the grotto to the south of the point where the cannon drops you, defeat all Skulltulas to reveal the chest
Gerudo Desert South Chest Behind Wooden Gates	Gerudo Desert	After defeating the Bulblins near the campfire, use a boar to destroy the wooden fences on the south side of the Desert.
Gerudo Desert West Canyon Chest	Gerudo Desert	North of the Cave of Ordeals, Clawshot the Peahat to reach the chest.
Outside Arbiters Grounds Lantern Chest	Bulblin Camp	Use the Lantern to light the torches near the entrance of the dungeon
Forest Temple Big Baba Key	Forest Temple	Defeat the Big Baba in the West Wing to reveal the item.
Forest Temple Big Key Chest	Forest Temple	Use the Boomerang on the pinwheels in the East Wing to open the wooden gates that block the chest.
Forest Temple Central Chest Behind Stairs	Forest Temple	Use the Bombling to destroy the boulder underneath the north door in the Lobby to reveal the chest. Since the chest can blocked by the stairs if you light all of the torches, this check logically requires the Boomerang to blow the torches out.
Forest Temple Central Chest Hanging From Web	Forest Temple	In the Lobby, destroy the web that is holding the web with either the Ball and Chain, Boomerang, Bow, or Clawshot.
Forest Temple Central North Chest	Forest Temple	In the Lobby, use the Lantern to light all of the torches to raise the stairs to reach the chest.
Forest Temple Dungeon Reward	Forest Temple	This item is given to the player by Midna after defeating Diababa.
Forest Temple East Tile Worm Chest	Forest Temple	In the room to the east of the windless bridge, use the boomerang to defeat the Tile Worms and continue up the vines to reach the ledge adjacent to the chest.
Forest Temple East Water Cave Chest	Forest Temple	In the East Wing, swim into the cave located to the north of the Big Key chest to find the chest.
Forest Temple Entrance Vines Chest	Forest Temple	When you first enter the dungeon, kill the Walltulas on the vines to the right and climb up to the chest.
Forest Temple Gale Boomerang	Forest Temple	Defeat Ook to receive the item.
Forest Temple North Deku Like Chest	Forest Temple	In the room to the west of the room before the dungeon's boss, use the Boomerang to grab a Bombling and throw it into the Deku Like's mouth to reach the chest.
Forest Temple Second Monkey Under Bridge Chest	Forest Temple	In the room with the Monkey in the cage on the Totem Pole, the chest can be found under the ledge that the player entered the room on.
Forest Temple Totem Pole Chest	Forest Temple	In the West Tile Worm Room, roll into the Totem Pole to knock down the chest.
Forest Temple West Deku Like Chest	Forest Temple	In the West Wing, use a Bombling to defeat the Deku Like to access the chest.
Forest Temple West Tile Worm Chest Behind Stairs	Forest Temple	In the West Tile Worm Room, use the Boomerang to blow out the torches to access the chest.
Forest Temple West Tile Worm Room Vines Chest	Forest Temple	In the West Tile Worm Room, climb the vines to reach the small chest on the ledge.
Forest Temple Windless Bridge Chest	Forest Temple	In the Windless Bridge Room, the chest can be found by the southern entrance.
Goron Mines After Crystal Switch Room Magnet Wall Chest	Goron Mines	In the room with the water and the crystal switch, activate the switch to open the gate and then use the Iron Boots to walk on the wall to reach the chest.
Goron Mines Beamos Room Chest	Goron Mines	In the circular room with the Beamos, the chest can be found hiding behind one of the Beamos.	Iron Boots, 2 Goron Mines Keys, Any Sword OR Hero Bow
