Epona Out of Bounds

There are many different possibilities to achieve (Epona Out of Bounds) which is why this is listed as its own section. This will try to go over different ways that all reach the correct height in front of the Faron Cave Tunnel from where other videos start with the out of bounds movement. Conveniently this position is behind the Faron Gate so you can assume all those methods work to get behind the Gate.

Glitched Way 1: Shadow Crystal (Map Glitch)

Difficulty: ★★★☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ 3/10

Explanation: With (Map Glitch) you can disable all Loading Zones which helps for getting Epona Out of Bounds. Usually this would be done in the Entrance leading to Faron Field but if it is blocked off with the Closed Faron Setting, then you can still achieve the same result in the Entrance leading back to Ordon Spring. Remember that loading transitions load the next parts of a map.

Glitched Way 2: Fishing Rod (Actor Duping)

Difficulty: ★★★★★☆☆☆☆☆ 5/10

Explanation: With Epona you can (Actor Dupe) the Fishing Rod 19 times. The game becomes laggy because too much memory is used in an area and it is difficult for the game to constantly update all actor positions and angles. After 19 dupes (may differ depending on version) the memory is filled. Trying to enter the next loading transition causes certain actors not to load. In this case specifically important the collision doesn't even load so this achieves (Epona Out of Bounds). Remember that loading Zones still work, though if you don't want the game to stay laggy then you can either enter another Loading Zone or Save Warp.

Glitched Way 3: Horse Call

Difficulty: ★★★★☆☆☆☆☆☆ 4/10

Explanation: Epona has set spawning locations when you first call her on a map or when she is pretty far away. This trick abuses this system because it spawns Epona in the Tunnel that is currently unloaded and then slowly lures her further so she can be mounted. This location is the lowest so the only known way to gain height is in the Spring and climbing on a specific Root.

Faron Escape

If a setting with Closed Faron is enabled, then a Midna Trigger is blocking off the way to reach the other side to Hyrule Field. The following are ways to get past that trigger without clearing Forest Temple.

Glitched Way 1: (Epona Out of Bounds)

Difficulty: ★★★☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ 3/10

Explanation: You can get behind the Trigger with (Epona Out of Bounds). Remember that if you are not over ground collision the game might crash so be careful when entering the loading zone or go off Epona beforehand. This method does not work in a Twilight State.

Glitched Way 2: Sword and Boomerang LJA

Difficulty: ★★★☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ 3/10

Explanation: The Midna Trigger is a Ground Trigger meaning with enough speed you can jump over it in the air. An LJA can do that

Difficulty: ★★★☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ 3/10

Explanation: You can also go around the Midna Trigger. With a Backslice Moon Boots you can get on top of the ledge and then roll around it

No Logic Exclusive: Epona and Setting Prologue enabled

Difficulty: ★★☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ 2/10

Explanation: If the Prologue is enabled, then there is a Gate instead of the Midna Trigger blocking you from reaching Hyrule Field. You can clip into this gate with Epona and clip through to the other side after rolling into it. This is No Logic Exclusive because after freeing Talo, you can't necessarily do it again if either the Settings Closed Faron or Faron Twilight are enabled.

Owl Statue Sky Character

The Owl Statue Sky Character always requires a Dominion Rod, however getting there normally requires something to blow up the rock in front of the area the Owl Statue is present in. Remember that if the Closed Faron setting is enabled, the check is not present until you beat Forest Temple.

Explanation: You can go around the rock with (Epona Out of Bounds). There isn't really much difficulty to it besides the process of getting Epona out of Bounds.

Glitched Way 2: Shadow Crystal and Onehanded Item (Storage)

Difficulty: ★★☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ 2/10

Explanation: With (Storage) you can Roll up the Ledge besides the Rock and go around it. This is pretty much a faster alternative than using (Epona Out of Bounds)

Mist Area

Checks inside the Mist

Normally you are required Lantern to get rid of the Mist that covers the Chests and the way to reach those Chests.

Glitched Way: Shadow Crystal (Map Glitch)

Difficulty: ★★☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ 2/10

Explanation: (Map Glitch) does not only disable Loading Zones but you are also unable to void out in general. That means after it is activated, you can freely go through the Mist and open all the Chests in the area.

Stump Chest

The Stump Chest is the only Chest not covered in the Mist so if you get there, you can obtain its content.

Glitched Way 1: (Epona Out of Bounds)

Difficulty: ★★☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ 2/10

Explanation: Even if Epona isn't supposed to be on the map, she is still part of the actor list. If you bring her where the Mist Area would be from Out of Bounds (use the Minimap), she spawns inside the Mist Area. When Link is mounted on Epona he is above the Mist and doesn't void out. To then get on the Stump Chest easily you can Rear for additional height and then Backhop of Epona on the Platform.

Glitched Way 2: Sword and Boomerang LJA

Difficulty: ★★★★☆☆☆☆☆☆ 4/10

Explanation: The Mist only voids you out when you have reached a certain lowest height. The Roots of Trees are exposed and with clever platforming and use of LJA, you can reach the Stump Chest that way.

Mist Cave Chest

The Mist Cave is far away and you need to go into the Loading Zone to reach this Check.

Glitched Way 1: (Epona Out of Bounds)

Difficulty: ★★☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ 2/10

Explanation: Even though (Map Glitch) is not possible to use for this Check since you need to go into a Loading Zone, you can just ride Epona there instead. And there is not even a worry from the Game to Crash since even if you go through the Loading Zone with Epona, she is still part of the Actor List.

Glitched Way 2: Sword and Boomerang LJA and Fast Spinner

Difficulty: ★★★★★★★★☆☆ 8/10

Explanation: This method is really difficult. The first part is still the same like when crossing the Mist with LJAs but then you need to use a very precise LJA to go to exposed tree roots. After that you need to very precisely climb up a slope with the Fast Spinner which is the hardest part as you can very easily be too low when you launch of to the next exposed platform. When you finally reach it, you can climb that slope as well with the Fast Spinner and finally enter the Loading Zone from Out of Bounds
